What a privilege to travel with the staff and students from OLGC to Canberra for the Capital Tour last week. Fifty five year 5/6 students, five staff and two parents, spent three amazing days visiting the many educational sites in Canberra. The tour commenced at 5am on Wednesday morning as we gathered in the School’s Atrium to board a bus to the airport. We returned at 7.30pm on Friday evening, weary but full of great spirit and plenty of stories to share.
An enormous thank you to Verona Gridley, Dom Izzard, Diandra Sartor, Stacey Riddiford who were outstanding in their care and supervision of our group. To the two parents, Grant Lingwood and Josie Pellegrino who graciously gave their time and support to the staff and students throughout the tour. Thank you to the students for their cooperation and gratitude for this wonderful experience.
